About Istria

Founded by Nic Stipinovich in 2003, Istria Lighting designed, developed and produced exclusive and handmade luminaires until his departure to the USA in 2009. All tooling and processes remained with his blacksmith father Joseph Stipinovich (Rosti Metal).

Joseph continued serving Istria’s loyal customers of interior designers, decorators and architects. Jonathan Stipinovich joined Rosti Metal in 2020 becoming a second-generation owner.

It’s time now to dust off Istria Lighting and pick up the pace again, paying homage to its meticulous and creative originator with new and exciting designs whilst maintaining the existing range of luminaires!
